She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Woody and Clara Woody; her husband Leon Thomas; and her brothers, Wilbur Woody, Lee Roy Woody, Robert Woody and Eugene Woody.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon McGinnis (Paul) of Macomb, Oklahoma, Linda K. Douglas (Don) of Nevada and Nancy Wallace (David). She is also survived by five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Welborn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to either the Vernon County Cancer Relief or Moundville Methodist Church, in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
