He is survived by: his wife Sharon Friedli; his children, Steven Hauf, Tina Wright Hauf and Alexander Hauf; his grandchildren, Kyla Hauf Baseman, Dominic Hauf, Angel Wright, Josh Waters, Christian Bottoms and Dalton Hardy; his great grandchildren, Ozias Baseman Hauf and Octavia Bottoms; his siblings, Sharon Crouse and James Hauf; and his former wife Katherine Hauf.
