She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar L. Palmer and Grace Palmer (Campbell); her husband Robert A. McCarter; her son Robert A. McCarter; and her siblings, Edgar Eugene Palmer and Jeanette Williams.
She is survived by: her son Mike McCarter (Vickie) of Nevada; her granddaughter Melody Smith (Josh) of Nevada; her great grandchildren, Trenton Sanderson and Logan Smith (Claire); and her nieces, Arian Riordan, Elizabeth Huffman and Gail Fleener.
Memorials are suggested in her name to Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
