It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martha Carmichael (Nevada, Missouri), born in Osawatomie, Kansas, who passed away on December 26, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George A. York and Marjorie O. Patterson York; and her siblings, James York and Mary Louise Roberts. She is survived by: her brother George A. York (Pandy) of Ft. Worth, TX.; her children, John Carmichael (Christy) of Filer, ID, Bob Carmichael (Julie) and Susan Richardson (Ron) of Cassville, MO; her grandchildren, Ryan, Hannah Carmichael of Lenexa, KS, Luke Canfield, Jenelle of Chehalis, WA, Sam Canfield and Michelle of Madison, WI; and her stepgrandchildren, Tara Richardson of Columbia, MO and Matt. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Nevada Senior Center or a charity of your choosing in c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
