She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Stempel and Evelyn Stempel (Corliss); her former husband Orvan Highley; her children, Julie Schwartz and Jerry Jones; and her brother Loren Stempel.
She is survived by: her husband Gene Lasley; her children, Lorie Tipton (Butch) of Fenton, IA, Donna Whiting (Scott) of Marion, IA and James Jones (Julie); and her granddaughter Heather Schwartz of Lincoln, NE. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Memorials to Wounded Warriors are suggested and may be made in c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
