We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Mary Highley (Nevada, Missouri), born in Kansas City, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald Stempel and Evelyn Stempel (Corliss); her former life partner Orvan Highley; her children, Julie Schwartz and Jerry Jones; and her brother Loren Stempel.

She is survived by : her husband Gene Lasley; her children, Lorie Tipton (Butch) of Fenton, IA, Donna Whiting (Scott) of Marion, IA and James Jones (Julie); and her granddaughter Heather Schwartz of Lincoln, NE. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.

Memorials to Wounded Warriors are suggested and may be made in c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
