He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert A. McCarter and Marlene Lou McCarter (Palmer); and his brother Mark Douglas McCarter. He is survived by: his daughter Melody Diane McCarter (Josh) of Nevada, MO; his wife Vickie Diane (Wolf); his grandsons, Trenton Sanderson of Pittsburg, KS and Logan Smith (Claire) of Nevada; and his nieces, Arian Riordan, Elizabeth Hoffman and Gail Fleener.
Memorials are suggested to the Nevada Elks Christmas Baskets, with the funeral home serving as custodian.
