She was predeceased by: her parents, K. L. Emery and Nettie Carpenter Emery; and her husband William "Bill" McDowell. She is survived by: her daughters, Janie Ephland of Port Royal, SC and Rita McCoy (Don) of Nevada, MO.; and her grandchildren, Andrew Ephland of Waco, TX, Bailey Flores (Adam) of Bluffton, SC, Dr. Matthew McCoy (Leslie) of Springfield, MO and Abby Huff (Phillip) of Lansing, KS.. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Deerfield Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Deerfield Cemetery Association or The Bungelows of Nevada in c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
