He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Swan and Nina Alice Swan (McCoy); his wife Fern Hord; his children, Ronnie Swan and Lisa Mojonnier; and his siblings, Kenneth Swan, Gordon Swan, Lawrence Swan, Fern Pratt and Eleanor Olsen.

He is survived by: his granddaughter Marsha Razo (Jesse); his great grandchildren, Dustin Hagerman of Springfield, Cheyenne Newberry of Springfield, Steven Pearce of Springfield, Travis Pearce of Springfield and Ashely Pearce of Nevada; and his great great grandchildren, Felicity Newberry, Adam Newberry, Bradley Hagerman, Kascidy Hagerman, Corey Hagerman, Autumn Hagerman, Aurora Pearce, Grace Pearce, Cameron Pearce and Taylor Pearce. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
