We announce the death of Raymond Ellifrits of Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on August 28, 2026, at the age of 66. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Virginia Drake and Charles S Drake; his siblings, Gary Wayne Drake Sr. and Diana Lynn Drake; his wife Angi K Ellifrits; his son Kody Levi Ellifrits; and his grandson Jacob Ellifrits.
He is survived by: his sisters, Julie Drake of Nevada, Missouri and Vickie Houchin of Nevada, Missouri; and his children, Holly Hallam (Cory) of Nevada, Missouri, Amy Williams (Jeffrey) of Sheldon, Missouri, Beth Jenkins (Tex) of Covington, Kentucky, Kory Ellifrits of Florida and James Stanhope. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ferry Funeral Home (301 S Washington St, Nevada, MO 64772). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at the Newton Burial Park (311 W Highland Ave, Nevada, MO 64772).
