With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Scott Secrest of Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on May 16, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ancil Secrest and Beulah Secrest (Jackson); and his siblings, Clyde, Robert, Wilbert Secrest, Mary Avery and Elizabeth Dingus.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Slater; his children, Richard Slater, Russell Scott and Connie Northup; and his sister Alice Searl. He is also survived by four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
