He is survived by: his wife Linda Jennings Schowengerdt; his daughters, Amanda Schowengerdt (Matt Fleming) and Emily Vangelovski (Sam) of Clarendon Hills, Illinois; his grandsons, Maxwell and Alexander; his brother Gary Schowengerdt (Trevalyn) of Butler; his stepsiblings, Claude Burch (Carol) of Parkville and Diana Crawford (Bill) of Kansas City; and his sister-in-law Sherry Schowengerdt of Independence.
