Wayne Westerhold Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Westerhold of Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Westerhold and Eula Westerhold; his brother Oscar; his wife Peggy Ann Westerhold; and his granddaughter Kerry Duncan.
He is survived by: his sister Lois McCormick of Butler; his children, Tammy Forkner (Tim) of Richards, Terry Logan (H. M.) of Sheldon and Denver Westerhold (Jane) of Metz; and his grandchildren, Nathan Forkner (Ashley) of Richards, Christy Witt (Phil) of Ozark, Katlyn Logan of Monroe City, Megan Westerhold of Metz and Michelle Westerhold of Metz. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferry Funeral Home (301 S Washington St, Nevada, MO 64772). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Greenlawn Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested in his name to Vernon County Youth Fair c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
