He was predeceased by : his parents, Wayne F. Lucas and Verna Lee Lucas (Powell); his daughter Amy; and his siblings, Wayne Lucas, Odes Lucas, Charles Lucas, Gilbert Lucas, Marcella Cunningham, Marilyn Rafferty and Vicky Rafferty.

He is survived by : his wife Marie; his daughters, Lisa Donze (Michael) of Fulton and Denise Lucas of New Bloomfield; his sibling Nayna Fox (Pete) of Keytesville; his grandchildren, Mark Presson (Breanna), Joshua Lucas, James Lucas (Marie), Vale Jess Donze, Alicia Donze, Jonathan Donze (Emily), Ashley Donze and Nicole Donze; and his great grandchildren, Olivia, William, Henry, Eleanor and Wyatt.
