He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Rodgers and Elizabeth Rodgers (Niemeier); his children-in-law, Mitchel Burns and Diane Rodgers; his brothers, Vic (Freda), Les and Milan Rodgers (Lois); and his niece Sandy Brehm.
He is survived by: his wife Deloris Rodgers; his children, Tim Rodgers of Marceline and Anne Burns of Marceline, Missouri; his grandchildren, Nici Cagle of Columbia, Missouri, Bennie Cagle of Marceline, Missouri, Whitney Teeter (Taylor) of Marceline, Missouri, Abby Ojolola (Ayo) of St. Louis, Missouri and Megan Tschannen (William) of Marceline, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Trace Cagle, Julien Floyd, Malakai and Jaylen Ojolola; his sister Ilah Mae Brehm (Chuck) of New Cambria, Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Rodgers of New Cambria and Mary Anne Smith (Don) of Higginsville, Missouri. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
