He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred, Sr. Kennedy and Louester Kennedy (Jennings); and his sister Lizzie B. Jennings. He is survived by: his children, Derrick Kennedy, Fred Kennedy, III, Joyce Kennedy, Teresa Kennedy, Jacqueline Rawlings (Tim), Marie Kennedy, Demekqua Kennedy, Kemiyah Kennedy and Kyrelle Kennedy; his partner Vyronica Prince; and his close friend Kenneth Dudley. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
