He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wester and Helen Mae Harvey Shaw; and his brother William Larry "Toby" Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Penny Pihana Shaw; his children, Makai Dale (Gina), Kalei Lee "Petie" Holder (Mike) and Mauka McDavid (Meganne); his grandchildren, Landon, Hudson Shaw, Skylar, Laila Shaw and Colin Holder; and his siblings, Dean Shaw (Wendy) and Diane Corman (Merle). He is also survived by one uncle, cousins, several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
