He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony John and Helen Eggert (Flynn); his siblings, Thomas and Mary Faith; and his wife Rita.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony John Eggert III (Kristen), Mark Eggert (Julie Tang), Barbara Eggert (Michael Gervich), Thomas Eggert (Yvonne), Michael Eggert (Carrie), Catherine Kannenberg, Elizabeth Eggert-Guerrant (Scott Guerrant), Clinton and Maria Eggert. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Oltmann Funeral Home (508 E 14th St, Washington, MO 63090). Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Ann Catholic Church (7851 State Hwy YY, Washington, MO 63090). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at the St. Ann Cemetery.
