With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Heggemann in New Haven, Missouri, born in Dutzow, Missouri, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Heggemann to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by : her husband Donald Heggemann; her parents, Oscar Ruether and Angela Ruether; her siblings, Jerome Ruether (Eileen), Urban Ruether (Sophie), Marion Ruether, Louise Schwoeppe (Marvin), Margaret Holtmeyer (Alfred), Annie Wessel (Donald) and Tom Ruether; and her siblings-in-law, Marvin, Leon Heggemann, Janette Heggemann and Lorraine Kluba.
She is survived by : her children, Wanda Bade (Kent), Randy Heggemann, Larry Heggemann (Cheryl), Debbie Patke (Dennis), Ken Heggemann (Jill), Donna Hopen (Paul) and Jonne Hanneken (Steve); her sister Tootie Borgerding (Carl); and her siblings-in-law, Marilee Ruether-Getz, Judy Heggemann, Jackie Heggemann and Phil Kluba. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Memorial donations are suggested to be made in Joey's honor to the Dutzow Community Club Playground Fund or to Masses at St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
