He is survived by: his wife Kathy Laune (LaBoube) of New Haven; his children, Jason Laune (Nicole) of New Haven, Missouri and Amanda Thimm (Brad) of Beatrice, Nebraska; his sister Mary Lou Horstmann of New Haven; and his grandchildren, Brendan, Blake Thimm, Dylan, Parker and Leo Laune.
Memorials may be given to Assumption Cemetery or Knights of Columbus.
