Oron Borcherding Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oron Borcherding of New Haven, Missouri, who passed away on April 23, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Borcherding and Viola Borcherding (Monje); his wife Dolly M. Borcherding (Meyer); his children, John Bunge and Deborah Bellamy; his son-in-law Blake Georgie; his grandson John Eye; his great great grandchildren, Stetson and Waylon Burke; his siblings, Jimmy, Clyde, Elwood Borcherding and Evelyn Borcherding; and his siblings-in-law, Rita, Jean Borcherding, Mabel Gist, Don Bredemeyer, Virgil Helling, Roy Hiatte and Thomas Gist.
He is survived by: his daughter Carla Georgie of Washington; his children-in-law, Pam Bunge of Stony Hill and James Bellamy of New Haven; his grandchildren, Brian Eye, Crystal Pehle (Ryhan), Shawn Eye (Betty), Bradley Gildehaus (Jamie), Cheyanne Eye, Angel Burke (Sean), Drew, Landen, Payten Gildehaus, Elijah, Ethan Pehle and Joe-Joe Eye; his great great grandchildren, Roman and Luella Burke; his siblings, Beulah Helling of Mexico, Arlene "Mutzie" Hiatte of St. Charles, Ruth Bredemeyer of Berger, Lloyd Borcherding (Dorothy) of New Haven and Howard Borcherding (Sandy) of New Haven; and his siblings-in-law, Barb Borcherding of Hermann, Mary Meyer of Union and William Meyer of New Haven. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home (1053 Hwy C, New Haven, MO 63068). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Mercy Kids Children's Hospital or St. James Women's Guild.
