He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Sr. Brown and Vera Mae Brown (House); and his grandson Clayton Brown Dinges. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Smith of Knoxville, Tennessee, Jessica Dinges of LaCenter, Kentucky, Meghan Georges (Suadi Arabia) of Jeddah and Robert E. Brown III of New Haven. He is also survived by two sisters, one brother, 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
