She is survived by: her stepmother Connie Furlong (Donnie); her sister Paula Mickels (Mark); her half-sisters, Tometta Richards and Sandy Singleton (John); her daughters, Amber Cunningham and Jami Merrick (Jack); her nieces, Cari Quinlin and Nikita Mickels-Kelley (Vinny); her cousin Sherwin Smith; and her close friends, Robert Seiger Sr. and Melody Lepley.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Genny's honor may be made to the family for commemorative and family expenses.
