He was predeceased by: his parents, Everette Cunningham and Mary Cunningham (Inlow); his son David Cunningham; his nephew Rodney Maple; and his great grandchild Shaylin Cunningham.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Ruth Maple Cunningham; his siblings, Larry Cunningham, John Cunningham and Georgia Cassidy; his children, Edward S Cunningham, Jr., Chad Cunningham, Laura Griffen and LaVon Inman; and his grandchildren, Natalie Lamb, Rachel Cunningham, Hannah Cunningham, Holly Cunningham, Blake Cunningham, Ian Griffen, Ethan Cunningham, Brett Inman, Nickolas Cunningham and Samuel Cunningham. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hydesburg United Methodist Cemetery (53349 Hydesburg Rd, Hannibal, MO 63401).
