He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyce Maxwell and Emma Maxwell; and his brothers, Bobby Maxwell, Edwin and Paul.
He is survived by: his siblings, Floyce Maxwell, Jr., Bill Maxwell (Erma), Larry Maxwell and Mary Kathryn Edmonds (Marty); and his sister-in-law Mary Ellen Maxwell. He is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews; twenty-six great-nieces and great-nephews; and sixteen great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Delisle Funeral Home (209 W Main St, Portageville, MO 63873). A Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (605 Davis St, New Madrid, MO 63869).
