He was predeceased by: his sons, John Walter Jones Jr. (Tiny) and Tony Allen Jones; and his brother Edmon "Bo" Jones. He is survived by: his brothers, Billy Allen Terry of Jackson, MS and Jesse Jones of Chicago, IL; and his grandchildren, Karimah, John, Anthony, Tonisha and MaKie. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
