With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Eugene Simmons of Newburg, Missouri, born in Clarinda, Iowa, who passed away on March 19, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roland Harry Simmons and Lillian Hillis Simmons (Cross); and his siblings, Roland Simmons, Jr., Kenny Simmons, George Simmons, Shirley Cavner, Jean Lawrence, Lois Godsey, Debbie Kestner and Colleen Hines.

He is survived by : his wife Debbie Simmons (Hainline) of Newburg, MO; his sons, Joshua Gallagher (Valery) of Waynesville, MO and Charles Simmons (Keri) of Devils Elbow, MO; his siblings, Eddie Simmons (Rose) of Clarinda, IA and Anna Ridnour of Gravity, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Logan Gallagher, Kaori Harris, Arwen Deich and Alexander Gallagher.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in St. Louis.
