He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Jones and Susie Jones (Rutledge); and his siblings, Wayne Jones (Betty), Dale Jones (Nadine), Hershel Jones (Louise), Claude Jones (Alta), Lloyd Jones (Kay), Jesse Jones (Linda), Clifford Jones, Jimmy Jones, Dorothy Hill (Arthur), Margie Hicks (Bill), Hazel Jones and Mildred Johnson (George).
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie Jones; his sons, Kevin Jones (Angela) and Bryan Jones (Amy); his sister Opal Yetter (Harold); and his grandchildren, Victoria Waterhouse (Jacob), Kailey Owens (Ashton), Erin Letterman (Joshua), Devin Jones (Kyla), Ashlynn Edge (Jordan) and Madison Jones Soberg (Daniel). He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home of Nixa (109 N Truman Blvd, Nixa, MO 65714). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
