He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his son David Carl Plake, III (Regenia); his grandchildren, David Carl Plake (D. C.), Macenzie Lyn Plake, Carissa Shue (Trevor) and John Lloyd Plake (J. L.); his children, John Farquhar Plake (Tabitha), Hannah J. Plake and Bethany G. Plake; his great grandchild Norah Grace Plake; and his brother-in-law Robert O. Farquhar.
