As Jason departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jason. Though Jason may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bruce Sr. and Shirley Merrill; his cousin Bruce Merrill III; and his uncle Tim Chevrette. He is survived by: his parents, Larry Merrill-Barbel and Brenda Merrill-Barbel; his siblings, Andrea Barbel Novak (John) and Brian D. Merrill; his aunts and uncles, Bruce Jr. (Patricia Merrill), Laura Chevrette, Glen (Patti Merrill), Sheila (Brian Kaddatz) and Sandra (Don Flesch); and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
