With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Melody Pierson of Nixa, Missouri, born in Columbia, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles F. (Trudy Madden) and Tibetan; her pet Bohdi; and her husband Doug. She is survived by: her daughter Elicia Nye of Englewood; her stepchildren, Julia and Joshua Pierson; her stepgrandsons, Owen and Henry Lungren; her brothers, Mirth Madden (Judy) of Manly and Michael Madden (Pamela Combs); her nibling Riley Madden of Nixa Mo; her brothers, Mark Madden of St. Louis and Matthew Madden (Julie); her nieces and nephews, Briana and Kailey of Centennial Co; and her great-niece Nichole Madden of St. Louis. She is also survived by her family, and her many friends, neighbors, students, and caregivers.
