He is survived by : his mother Lorie Smith; his brother Travis (Cindy); his niece Kaylee; his nephew Zach; his sibling-in-law Darcie; and his nieces and nephews, Asher, Ember, Noah and Adara. He is also survived by his wife and children, his mother.

“In loving memory of Michael Brandon Smith, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. My son Austin Brown and Michael went to school together. They also rode to Neosho-Crowder College together. I am so sorry for your loss and I know how hard it is. I lost Austin 6 months ago and I hope they are both up in the clouds and will meet again. I know they will be watching over our families. So sorry for your loss: Sharon Brown and family”
