She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Usher and Bessie Usher; her husband Dwight "D. B."; her daughter Kim Cole; her great grandchild Cane Vallejo; and her siblings, Leota Chambers and Marvin "Bud" Usher.

She is survived by: her son Chris Morrison (Charlotte); and her grandchildren, Amy Allen (Russ), Christin Vallejo (Colby), Michael Smith (Angel), Caitlyn Mercado (Noel) and Bessie Smith. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends.
