We are sad to announce that on April 16, 2026, at the age of 80, Wayne Gilbert of Nixa, Missouri, born in Portland, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, may Wayne find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Kehr Gilbert; his children, Ashley Bruce (Scott) and Kaarie Roberts (Shawn); his grandchildren, Parker Roberts, Reed Roberts, Aubrey Bruce, Leilanni Bruce and Izzy Bruce; and his brother Jerry Gilbert (Debbie). He is also survived by many other family members and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, April 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Adams Funeral Home of Nixa (109 N Truman Blvd, Nixa, MO 65714).
