It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilbert Smith of Nixa, Missouri, who passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Smith and Maude Smith; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Stephanie Lemay; his great grandchild Elia Gaumer; his siblings, Maxine Carson (Clifford), Ralph Smith (Bessie), Earnest Smith (Laura), Edward Smith (Irene) and Louise Fleener (Mel); his sister-in-law Juanita Bemis (Donald); his nephews, Gary Fleener and Wilbert L. Smith; and his niece Tonja Bemis.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan; his wife Rosalie F. Bishop; his children, Kendall, Sheila Stepko (Kevin), Sue Gaumer (Gary) and Shelly Lamczyk (John); his grandchildren, Matt Stepko (Alex), Kesha Null, Kendra Sanson (Zayne), Brandi Gripka (Bryan), Jacob Gaumer, Gregory Gaumer (Chenille), Nikki Gaumer, John Lamczyk, Krystelle Carey (Patrick), Blake Lamczyk and Brett Lamczyk (Nicole); and his close friends, Garry and Penny Glossip. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, and 3 great- great-grandchildren.
