He was predeceased by: his parents, William, Sr. Chitwood and Mamie Chitwood; his siblings, Thurlow, Pete, Marie Beshears and Jean Journagan; and his son Jason.
He is survived by: his family Bill; his wife Janet; his children, Allison, Gloria and Scott; and his sister Billie. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
