Rex Goodman Obituary

Rex entered this life on December 8, 1932 in Roxton, Texas born to the union of Claude F. and Essie Goodman. He was raised in Roxton and graduated from Paris High School in Paris, Texas. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from March 18, 1953 to March 17, 1955. On June 21, 1959 he was united in marriage with Betty Lee and to this union two children were born.

He retired from Navistar International in Dallas, Texas after 42 years of employment. In 1998 he and Betty left Texas to make their home in Noel, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Goodman on January 16, 2007; and two brothers; C.R. Goodman and Frank Goodman. Rex is survived by one daughter, Lisa JoAnn Joie Goodman Worth of Dallas, Texas; a son, Robert Goodman and wife, Adrianna, of Wylie, Texas; three grandchildren; Timothy Worth, Samantha Dozier and Olena Goodman, as well as a host of other family and friends.

Graveside funeral services with full military honors for Mr. Goodman are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2012 at the Noel Cemetery in Noel, Missouri. Arrangements are under the personal care and direction of the Ozark Funeral Home of Noel, Missouri.
