It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Raffety of Norborne, Missouri, who passed away on June 26, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Dale Raffety; and her brother-in-law Carl Prewitt. She is survived by: her mother Bonnie Marie Raffety (Johnson); her cousin Miss Josi; her friend J. D. Matthews; her sisters, Sharon Raffety, Karen Buffington (Bill) and Pamela Penrod (Mike); her nieces, Shana Hopkins (Ed), Tegan Pillers (Nathan), Ashley Sizemore (Adam) and Taylor Mahnken (Harrison); her nephew Dale Colborn (Morgan); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alexandra, Boden, Ava, Ashton, Addison, William, Emma, Benjamin and Rowan.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (300 S Pine St, Norborne, MO 64668). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests that those wishing to make a memorial contribution, may make them to the First Baptist Church of Norborne or the Fairhaven Cemetery in Norborne, Missouri.
