She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stanley Jasper Quam and Mary Doris Roberts Quam; her husband John Michael "Mike" Scruby; her daughters, Angie Meza (Osiel) and Kari Carrier (Jeff); her grandchildren, Javier Meza (Brieanna), Antonio Meza, Kason Carrier and Macie Carrier; her siblings, Fred (Marily), Paul (Sandy), Mark, Kris (Joe), Todd, Sharm (Sue) and Janna (Dave); and her friends, Stephanie and Rhonda.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Community Building (6805 Sobbie Rd, Pleasant Valley, MO 64068). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
