Luther Laverne May Obituary

We bid farewell to Luther Laverne May of Novinger, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Luther Laverne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor David and Blanche Viola May (Roberts); and his siblings, Wesley May and Mildred Lucas. He is survived by: his wife Daisy Ruggles; his son Jeff; his daughter-in-law Callie May of Kirksville, MO; his daughters, Brenda (Carl Bonsignore) and Lisa (Bob Brown); and his sisters, Carolyn (Dave Nolen) and Josephine Billington of Kirksville, MO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
