He is survived by: his father William Lavern; his wife Lora Lea Robison; his stepmother Alice Gosney of Edina, MO; his daughter Tara LeAnn VanWye (Tyler) of Novinger, MO; his brother Kevin Gosney of Palmyra, MO; his stepbrother Brant Tripp of Kirksville, MO; his half-sister Jennifer Gosney; his stepsisters, Amber Manning of Edina, MO and Stephanie Adelman of Edina, MO; and his grandson Talon VanWye.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Travis-Noe Funeral Home (1008 W Potter Ave, Kirksville, MO 63501). The military honors was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri State Veteran's Cemetery (1479 County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 65260).
