He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chappell and Treva Chappell (Gramling); and his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Striley. He is survived by: his children, Jimmie "Taco" Lee (Teresa) of Napoleon, MO and April Stoenner (Mike) of Wellington, MO; his grandchildren, Brian Chappell (Megan) of Lexington, MO, Hollie Wallace (Kevin) of Napoleon, MO, Heather Kirchhoff (Jeremy) of Wellington, MO and Jennifer Rusher (Charlie) of Brighton, MI; and his great grandchildren, Haleigh, Brooklyn Chappell, Levi, Kaden Wallace, Jocelyn, Brynlee Kirchhoff and Rusher.
In his memory, contributions are suggested to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Hope of Lake Lafayette.
