With profound sadness, we say goodbye to James N. Chappell (Oak Grove, Missouri), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Chappell and Treva Chappell (Gramling); and his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Striley. He is survived by: his children, Jimmie "Taco" Lee (Teresa) of Napoleon, MO and April Stoenner (Mike) of Wellington, MO; his grandchildren, Brian Chappell (Megan) of Lexington, MO, Hollie Wallace (Kevin) of Napoleon, MO, Heather Kirchhoff (Jeremy) of Wellington, MO and Jennifer Rusher (Charlie) of Brighton, MI; and his great grandchildren, Haleigh, Brooklyn Chappell, Levi, Kaden Wallace, Jocelyn, Brynlee Kirchhoff and Rusher.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Royer Funeral Home (101 SE 15th St Pl, Oak Grove, MO 64075). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In his memory, contributions are suggested to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or Hope of Lake Lafayette.
