With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gary J. Riley of Odessa, Missouri, born in Artesia, California, who passed away on October 7, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Earl and Marietha Geraldine Riley (Phillips); his siblings, Thomas Riley II, Michael Riley and Glenda Renee Riley-Dabney; his son Gary James Riley II; and his grandson Austin Jaros-Riley.
He is survived by: his children, William Eairheart, Carrie Riley, Stacy Riley and Tamera Ledom (Tammy); his sister Gloria (Walter); his grandchildren, Colin, Kendall, Alex, Gavin, Ryan, Kaidence, Landen, Tiffany (Jackson), Abigail (Abby) and Jadea; his great grandchildren, Amanda, Alma Rose and Ayden; and his sibling's children, Annette Dabney-Frampton, Vonna Dabney, Rodney Dabney and Shane Calvert.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Liberty Baptist Church (32310 E Colbern Rd, Oak Grove, MO 64075). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery (20109 Bus, MO-13, Higginsville, MO 64037).
