He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe I Seward and Ruth Seward (Pugh); his son Joe III; his close friend Dana; and his sister Retha.
He is survived by : his wife Mary; his children, Michelle Hardesty (Ken) of Odessa, Jennifer Wheat (Derick) of Sugar Creek and David Seward of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Abbigail Seward, Justice Jones (Darren) of Odessa, Liberty Wasmer of Independence, Garrett Barmore (Lorelei) of Independence, Ashlyn Mantle (Danny) of Buckner and Eryn Hardesty of Odessa; and his great grandchildren, Julian, Jacelynn, Teslyn, Aerith, Jake, Kyrie and Maylee.
