He was predeceased by: his parents, B. R. Day and Isabelle Day (Schneider); his stepson Todd Douthit; and his brother Fred Day. He is survived by: his wife Patty Day (Jennings); and his daughters, Wendy Reynolds (David) of Odessa, Crystal Day of Independence, MO and Aimee Douthit (Jeff Bainbridge) of Odessa. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
