He was predeceased by : his parents, Raymond Bentsen and Betty Bentsen (Baker); his son Erryn Bentsen; his sister Linda Melley; and his niece LaDonna Conrad.
He is survived by : his wife Anita Bentsen; his children, Elliot Bentsen (Kathryn), Evan Bentsen (Betsy), Ethan Bentsen, Ellyn Wilson (Mitchell) and Emery Bentsen (Jessica); his grandchildren, Oliver Wilson, Adalaide Wilson, Malachi Porto, Whitley Bentsen, Alexander Bentsen and James Bentsen; his brother David Bentsen; his siblings-in-law, Joe Melley and Joyce Zimmerschied (Allen); and his friends, Hawaiian and Larry. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
