It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Luella May Burge of Odessa, Missouri, who passed away on October 10, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Luella shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Luella farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Cogdill and Opal Cogdill (Barnes); her husband Charles Edgar Burge; and her brother Jasper Cogdill. She is survived by: her son Paul Burge; her son-in-law Steve Anderson; her daughter Amy Ratz; and her grandsons, Eric Ratz and A. K. Hunter. She is also survived by many relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Odessa Cemetery (201 Main St, Odessa, MO 64076).
Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church in Odessa or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
