He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Raymond Gash and Lila Nadine Gash (Deatherage); his sisters, Kathleen Johnson and Lisa Stone; and his nieces, Jeanne Johnson and Lila Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gash (Stone); his daughters, Veronica (Jimmy Beard), Cindy (John Schumaker), Jill (Robert King) and Odessa; his grandchildren, Lauren (Jason), Reid Beard (Malarie), Ethan (Katherine), Ellie Schumaker (Zane), Abigail, Anna and Drake King; his great grandchildren, Isaac Bass, Leo Gauger, Gavin Beard, Wyatt Beard, Norah Bass, Amelia Gauger and Anya Schumaker; his brother Russell; his sister-in-law Maxcine Gash of Lake Isabella, CA.; and his sisters, Susan (Simon Bowland) and Amy Frett Young of Carl Junction, MO.
Family suggests memorial contributions to Phoenix Home Care and Hospice and Children's Mercy Hospital.
