He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Robinson and Martha Robinson (Baker); his daughter Rachel; his siblings, Isabelle Wilson, Jean Wright, Donald and Arthur Robinson; and his son-in-law Peter Rozenberg.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Robinson; his daughters, Megan Chappell (Brian) and Brooke Rozenberg; his grandchildren, Makayla Tomlinson, Clayton Tomlinson, Abigail Rozenberg and Riley Rozenberg; and his brother-in-law Robert Wright. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
