She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Burgess and Josie Burgess (Coad); her husband Travis Sanders; her son Charles; and her son-in-law Russell Scrutchfield.

She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Scrutchfield and Ronda Westerheid; her son-in-law Michael Westerheid; and her grandchildren, David Hamilton, Megan Coffey (Jared), Hannah Cochron (Eric), Amanda Westerheid (Billy Ennis) and Kyle Westerheid (Hannah Jo). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Rolling Meadows Christian Church, Odessa Missouri.
