Steven leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Steven’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Steven will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelton Thompson and Carol Frances Thompson (McDaniel). He is survived by: his children, Skyler Daniel Thompson (Mary) of Odessa, Missouri, Steven Daniel Thompson, Jr. (Savannah) of Independence, Missouri and Natalie Thompson of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Steele Daniel Thompson, Skye Eden Thompson and Stetson Daniel Thompson; and his sister Lisa Fox of Florida. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Church of Christ (210 N 4th St, Odessa, MO 64076). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Christ Starts (210 N 4th St, Odessa, MO 64076).
Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Skyler Thompson, for a charity to be chosen at a later date.
